Last Friday, the CHOC Foundation, benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and known for its strong ties with Disneyland Resort, kicked off the 2024 CHOC Walk season. The event celebrated the upcoming CHOC Walk in the Park, scheduled for July at Disneyland.

The highlight of the evening was a special presentation featuring CHOC’s Assistant Vice President Community Engagement Zach Abrams, 2024 CHOC Walk Ambassador Kara Nguyen and her family, Disneyland Resort’s Disney Ambassador Jada Young, and the iconic Mickey Mouse himself.

Attendees were greeted by signs directing them to the venue’s Sleeping Beauty Pavilion at the Disneyland Hotel. The lovable mascot Choco the Bear also made an appearance to pose for photos with fans.

During the presentation, the artwork for CHOC Walk in the Park 2024 was unveiled, with artist Jeff Granito on hand to sign mini-posters for attendees.

Mickey Mouse stayed for photos, and a group shot was taken with members of the CHOC Walk media team.
