In celebration of Women’s History Month, we are highlighting women-led restaurants every Friday throughout March. One such restaurant is Katch The Kitchen located at 4172 Hamilton Ave in Northside. More than just a restaurant, Katch The Kitchen is a testament to resilience. Founded in March 2021 after the success of two food trucks, Katch The Kitchen is proudly black-owned and operated by Lauren Stewart, a mother of six. The restaurant, along with Lauren Stewart, will be celebrating its third year of business on March 24th.
Katch The Kitchen offers a variety of flavorful dishes such as the Big Katch Sausage Breakfast Bowl, Katch Lamb Chop Breakfast Platter, Salmon Philly with Onion Rings, and Chicken & Waffles, each dish providing a taste of Black tradition.
This week, we are honoring Katch The Kitchen and entrepreneur Lauren Stewart for Women’s History Month. To show our appreciation, the first 10 customers who mention “Foodies With A Cutie” will receive a complimentary lemonade with any purchase.
Don’t forget to tune in to Foodies With A Cutie live every Friday at 3:25 pm for her restaurant rundown inside The TropHouse on 101.1 The Wiz!
