Art On The Rocks, a beloved Magic City tradition, is making a comeback on August 2nd. The Birmingham Museum of Art (BMA) has announced the summer return of its signature event.
Headlining this event is Ric Wilson, a Chicago-based artist known for his infectious energy and unique blend of hip-hop, funk, and soul. The celebration will showcase art, music, and culture, promising attendees an evening of creativity, inspiration, and fun.
Graham Boettcher, R. Hugh Daniel Director of the Birmingham Museum of Art, expressed his excitement for the return of Art On The Rocks and the special guest, Ric Wilson.
In addition to live performances, the event will feature interactive art installations, hands-on workshops, captivating performances by local artists, and access to the museum’s extensive collections and special exhibitions.
The event will take place on Friday, August 2nd, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Birmingham Museum of Art. Ticket prices vary for Museum Members, General Admission, and VIP tickets, with discounts available for BMA members. Tickets can be purchased online at artsbma.org or at the museum’s ticket office.
