Cossette Unveils New Visuals to Celebrate McDonald’s Canada Grand Openings
Cossette, the creative agency behind McDonald’s Canada’s successful 2021 Grand Openings campaign, has released a new series of visuals and a toolkit for franchisees to mark the inauguration of new locations and renovated restaurants across Canada.
The new visuals, designed by Cossette, feature a burst of confetti, symbolizing joyous occasions, along with iconic McDonald’s menu items such as the Big Mac, World Famous Fries, McFlurry, and Egg McMuffin.
Melissa Hains, Director of Field Marketing at McDonald’s Canada, expressed the company’s aim to bring joy to customers through these celebrations. She emphasized that the restaurant openings are not just expansions, but opportunities for McDonald’s to welcome customers with a festive and friendly atmosphere.
Creative Director Alexandre Jutras of Cossette explained the unique technique used to capture the visuals, involving an ultra high-speed camera and a trampoline to shoot the confetti into the air. The resulting photos are described as playful, modern, and captivating, perfectly embodying the joyful spirit that McDonald’s Canada wants to convey.
The new visuals and toolkit aim to offer a consistent and celebratory message across all McDonald’s establishments in Canada, enhancing the overall customer experience.
