Disney Cruise Line is set to unveil its latest addition to the fleet, Disney Destiny, a 140,000gt ship that follows the footsteps of Disney Treasure and Disney Wish. The new ship will boast a ‘heroes and villains’ theme, bringing to life beloved Disney stories, characters, and theme park attractions for passengers to enjoy.
Passengers aboard Disney Destiny can expect encounters with iconic characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios such as ‘The Lion King,’ ‘Hercules,’ and ‘One Hundred and One Dalmatians’ throughout the ship’s spaces, experiences, and entertainment offerings.
One of the highlights of Disney Destiny is the new filigree artwork on the bow, featuring Minnie Mouse in a valiant pose, leading travelers on their holiday destinies with her cape waving in the sea breeze. This design tradition continues to showcase Disney’s attention to detail and commitment to magic at sea.
Sharon Siskie, SVP, and general manager of Disney Cruise Line, expressed excitement about expanding the fleet with Disney Destiny, emphasizing the company’s dedication to providing families with world-class service and unforgettable Disney experiences on the open waters.
In addition to Disney Destiny, other new offerings from Disney Cruise Line include Disney Adventure, set to debut in Singapore in 2025, and the upcoming Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point in Eleuthera, expected to start welcoming visitors this summer.
With these new additions and the continued innovation in themed cruising experiences, Disney Cruise Line solidifies its position as a leader in family cruising, promising more opportunities for guests to immerse themselves in Disney magic and create lasting memories at sea.
