A new Dunkin’ location in Xenia is currently in the midst of a soft opening, with plans for a grand opening celebration on April 2. During the grand opening event, there will be a check presentation to HALO, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the population of owner-surrendered animals in shelters. Julea Schuh Remke, a spokesperson for Gilligan Company, shared this exciting news.
The new Dunkin’ features a double drive-thru for convenient service. Inside the store, customers can enjoy their favorite signature cold beverages, such as iced coffee served through a tap system. Additionally, there is a front-facing bakery case offering a variety of delicious donuts and other baked goods.
Gilligan Company, the franchisee of the Popeyes restaurant located next door at 2028 W. Main St., is also gearing up for their own grand opening. The Popeyes location is expected to have a soft opening in late April, with the official grand opening scheduled for late May, according to Remke.
In June 2022, City of Xenia Development Director Steve Brodsky announced that Dairy Queen Grill & Chill had submitted a preliminary zoning application to open in the Xenia Gateway area, joining the growing list of exciting new dining options in the region.
Other restaurants set to open in Xenia include Waffle House, Butterbee’s American Grille, and Nara Thai Kitchen. Waffle House will be located on a 1-acre parcel behind the Circle K gas station on Progress Drive. Butterbee’s American Grille is expected to open next door to Skyline Chili on Progress Drive in the summer of 2024. Nara Thai Kitchen will be located at 68 Xenia Towne Square near Nail Ace and T-Mobile, with plans to open in April.
Exciting developments are underway in Xenia, with a variety of new dining options set to enhance the culinary scene in the area.
