Fundraising Event Supports Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation with Small Hands to Big Plans

The annual fundraising event known as Small Hands to Big Plans, benefiting the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation, is set to take place on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, at the Mount Si High School Performing Arts Center.

This event will highlight the foundation’s commitment to supporting students and teachers in the Snoqualmie Valley School District. The schedule for the event is as follows:

– Mount Si Campus Tours available to registered guests at 9:30 am
– Doors Open at 10:00 am
– Program Starts at 10:30 am
– Networking and Light Lunch to follow

Participants will commemorate 35 years of Foundation support in the Snoqualmie Valley School District, with over million raised to benefit local schools. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from SVSD teachers and students who have directly benefited from the foundation’s programs.

The event will conclude with a networking session and a light lunch prepared by the Mount Si Culinary Arts students. Small Hands to Big Plans is the primary fundraiser for the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation, aiming to raise 5,000 to support critical programs such as classroom grants, district initiatives, professional development, and other educational programs.

Lorraine Thurston, Board President at the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation, expressed excitement about hosting the event and invited the community to join in supporting education excellence in the Snoqualmie Valley School District.
